Question / Issue
Why am I getting "NaN" for premiums when I rate a quote?

Answer / Solution

NaN premiums:

  1. If rating a Multi-Peril quote, this means that you didn't enter a building value for one or more of the buildings on the quote.  You will need to go back to the Policy tab and enter a value or remove the building.
  2. If rating a Wind Only risk that is a Hotel/Motel and requires First Loss rating, this means that you answered the Commercial-Residential question on the Policy tab as Yes.  You will need to change the Commercial-Residential entry to No.

Note:  If you try to make these changes then go to rate the risk and you receive a server error, you will then need to click on your browser back button to go back to the last tab you were on before you attempted to rate and click on the Log Out button.  You will need to log back in and open that quote to make the change.
