I am updating IP and I get this error message: INTERNAL ERROR B109-11: Cannot decompress setup program. How do I fix this?

Answer / Solution

To fix INTERNAL ERROR B109-11: Cannot decompress setup program:

1)  You will need to delete your temporary internet files and cookies:

  • Go to your browser Tools menu and select Internet Options.
  • On the General tab, click on the Delete button in the Browsing history section.
  • Depending on your browser version you will have either buttons to click on individually or boxes to check.
  • Select or click on the button for the following items:
    • Temporary Internet files
    • Cookies
    • History
    • If you have the option and you would like to maintain your favorites, select Preserve Favorites website data.
