When attempting to open an existing policy I get error: Runtime error 339 mscomct2.ocx not registered or missing, what do I do?

Answer / Solution

Runtime error 339 mscomct2.ocx not registered or missing:

  1. Close InsurancePro.
  2. From the Windows Start menu, click Run.
  3. In the Run box, type in regsvr32 /u c:\windows\system32\mscomct2.ocx.
  4. Click OK.
  5. You will get a message: DllUnregusterServer in C:\windows\system32\mscomct2.ocx succeeded.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Open InsurancePro and now open the policy.
