Find Client Screen Help

The Find Client Screen is used to location policy information quickly.

Search by the following fields:

1. Name
2. Policy Number
3. Home Phone
4. Company
5. Address
6. File Number
7. Policy Type
8. Location
9. Policy Status
10. Date policy was entered into InsurancePro

Sort the results by the following fields:

1. Client Name
2. Last Name
3. Effective Date
4. Policy Type
5. Company
6. File Number

For performance purposes, returned results are restricted to 1000 policies.  This restriction can be removed by unchecking the checkbox next to "Restrict Max Results Returned".  The limit of the number of results returned can be modified by changing the value in the textbox inside the "Restrict Max Results Returned" box.  Please note that the more results you allow, the longer the time will be for the screen to respond after a search is initiated.

To perform a search for a policy:

1. Click "Find Existing Policies" at the top of the toolbar on the left or on "Main Menu" screen.
2. Enter in any known data in any of the fields
3. Click the "Search" button or hit the "Enter" key

Screen Tips:

1. Hitting "F" in many places in InsurancePro loads this screen
2. You can hide the search parameters at the top of the screen by clicking "Hide Search Parameters" to claim more space on your screen for results
3. To search for the last name of a policy owner, select "Ends With" on the "Name" field.  This may not work well with names including "Jr.", "Sr.", or any other suffix.
4. Use the arrow keys after searching by hitting "Enter" to change your selected policy.  Hit "Enter" to open the selected policy's Policy Summary Screen.
