Question / Issue
The Transfer From Rater Screen For Bridges To InsurancePro

Answer / Solution

The Transfer From Rater Screen

This screen provides the user with the ability to copy (bridge) policy data from one system into InsurancePro.  When a policy is bridged to InsurancePro, it is preserved on this screen and requires user intervention before it becomes another policy in the InsurancePro system.

To upload a policy into InsurancePro:

  1. Click the checkmark of the row that represents the policy you would like to save.  Some bridges have the option of updating a policy in InsurancePro.  These bridges have typically been bridged from InsurancePro to the rater, rated, and then back again to InsurancePro.  Only policies with a status of "Prospect" or "Quote" can be updated.
  2. Click the "Upload" button.
  3. Verify the information for the policy before clicking "Commit".  In the case where the bridge is able to update a policy in your system, you will notice the option to "Overwrite originating policy".  Click this to update the policy that was originally bridged from InsurancePro to the rater.  Left unchecked, a new policy will be generated in InsurancePro.
