Question / Issue
How does the Require a Reason for All Quotes not Bound feature work?

Answer / Solution

Before an agent can close a quote that has not been bound, they will be required to select a reason why they were unable to sell the policy.

To turn this feature on:

  1. Go to the Welcome menu and select Preferences
  2. Then on the Preferences screen, click on Agency.
  3. Click the Reasons Not Bound box.
  4. Choose Yes next to Require a Reason for All Quotes Not Bound.
  5. Hit Save, and then hit Close to exit the Preferences area.

To define your own custom reasons why a policy may not be sold:

  1. Go to the Gear menu and select Preferences
  2. Then on the Preferences screen, click on Agency.
  3. Click the Reasons Not Bound box.
  4. There are some pre-entered choices already displayed in this box.
  5. You may add your own reasons by clicking on the link below the box, you may also edit the pre-entered options, and select the default entry.
