Question / Issue
What is the Insurance Score entry field used for - shown on the Policy tab?

Answer / Solution

Insurance Score entry field:

  1. It is used for those companies that have provided ITC with an assume credit level rate.
  2. If you do not want to order a live credit score for those companies, you will receive a rate calculated and based on the selection from this entry field:
    • Best
    • Average
    • Worst
    • No Hit
    • No Score
  3. There are companies that have not provide an assumed rate and therefore may not rate without running a live credit score (this does not apply to those companies that do not base the rate from a credit score).
  4. Most Real Time rating companies will not send back a rate without a credit score.

NOTE: If you do run a live credit score, it will override what you have selected in the Insurance Score field.
